My Story
Hi, My name is Rose and I am looking forward to meeting you. Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
First off, it is an honor to be Licensed Facilitator where I can be in the presence of this profound experience, witnessing people’s journeys and lending a hand when they get stuck or lost. Every single person is unique like a snowflake and so are their journeys. I have been preparing to do this work my whole life.
I was lucky enough to discover the power of psychodelics in my younger days. My adventures with Psilocybin made me the person I am today. I never really considered my self to be a religious person per se, but I always found my journeys to be very spiritual in nature. They helped me find my true self and gave me a greater perspective on life. This sustained me for many decades.
Personally I am an adventurous and fun loving person. I studied acting, dance and circus at Interlochen Arts Academy, NYU and Circle in the Square. Between High School and College, I lived In Ireland for a year and road my bike around exploring the Stone Circles. Another exciting experience was living up in Alaska (sometimes out in the bush 450 miles way from any road) where I learned to fly airplanes. For the love of it I studied various types of Ethnic/Folk Dance and drumming and did a show at the opening of the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Fransisco.
I was a natural healer and empath as a child. I would always give my friends ‘back rubs’ when they were stressed. And, had the ability to feel other peoples emotions. Although, as a child this was overwhelming because I could not tell the difference between my own emotions and other peoples. Thankfully, I got a handle on that when I went to school to at The Academy of Intuitive Studies. And, it is now more of a tool than a detriment. As a young adult, a good friend of mine suggested I get licensed in massage since I already knew how to do it. So, I went to the Acupressure Institute where I studied and got certified. She did me a big favor as I have always been able make a living in the healing arts doing massage, energy work, intuitive consulting, Yoga therapy, meditation instruction etc. I have spent my whole life learning modes of natural healing to add to my tool belt. All of this lends to my being a better Facilitator.
